Certified Hyperbaric Technologist & Certified Registered Nurse Testing Schedule
Contact the NBDHMT for specific site and time details. Individuals wishing to sit for the examination must register 30 days in advance for the CHT examination and 60 days in advance for the CHRN examination.

Guidelines For Scheduling An Exam In Your Region
Certification exams in Hyperbaric Technology and Hyperbaric Nursing are offered in conjunction with all of the UHMS Chapter and Annual Scientific meetings and many other meetings and conferences throughout the country and abroad. If, however, you are not able to attend any of these we will attempt to schedule an exam in your area. The guidelines to schedule a local exam are as follows:There must be at least three people pre-registered.
- The exam will be conducted in a neutral setting such as a community college, university, vocational school or the education department of a medical facility.
- Applications must be made at least three (3) months in advance of the requested exam date. This will provide sufficient time for the location, date and time to be posted on the Board’s website. This will provide an opportunity for others in the region who are interested in certification to apply. Sufficient time is also allowed for the Board to identify a proctor to oversee the examination process.
