Richard C. Barry, BBA, CHT – Richard has a degree in Healthcare Management and is an active CHT. He joined Diversified Clinical Services in 1999, after completing 8 years as a US Navy Diver. In his current role he oversees facility implementations, safety, and maintenance for greater than 200 locations.
In addition to his role as Vice President of Facility Implementation and Hyperbaric Services for Diversified, he serves as a committee member for NFPA 99-Hyper/Hypobarics, NFPA 53-Recommended Practice on Materials, Equipment, and Systems Used in Oxygen Enriched Atmosphere, and the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. He is an associate member of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and serves as a technologist surveyor for the UHMS.
Prior to being his current role, Richard served as Hyperbaric Services Manager at the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, a Diversified Therapy center, at Boca Raton Community Hospital. Before that, he served in the US Navy as a First Class Deep Sea Diver, Hyperbaric Supervisor, and Training Coordinator. Additionally, Richard has served as a team captain for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life events.
